This is one of the biggest projects I've ever worked on: a 45-minute record of semi-listenable noise.
The album was constructed as a manifesto addressing the current artistic climate. Curation vs. creation. Appropriation and misappropriation. And let me reiterate – tons of horrible noise. All dressed up in a lush triple gatefold package and pressed onto 180 gram wax.
Side note: the inside image required 500 rats to be wrangled in a small corner of a reptile breeding facility, making for what I can conservatively call the least pleasant photoshoot I've ever been on.
